Depot Arrival (Automatic)

Once you have accepted a shipment and are transporting it, orders automatically become visible to the destination depot officer. There is no explicit "hand over" action required from the transporter — orders appear in the destination depot's Incoming screen as soon as they are in transit and assigned to that depot.

How It Works

  1. You accept the shipment assignment → orders move to in_transit
  2. Orders automatically appear in the destination depot officer's Incoming screen
  3. The depot officer accepts individual orders → they move to at_country_depot
  4. Once all orders in your shipment are accepted, the shipment auto-completes

Info

You do NOT need to tap an "Arrived at Depot" button or select a depot officer. The system automatically routes orders to the correct destination depot based on the order's depot_address_id.

What You See

While your shipment is in transit, the shipment card shows a note:

"Orders will appear in the destination depot for acceptance."

Once the depot officer has accepted all orders in your shipment, the shipment moves from your In Transit tab to Completed.

Available Actions While In Transit

From the In Transit tab, you can:

  • Return to Source — Return the shipment to the source depot if delivery cannot be completed (see Return to Source)
  • Hand Over to Another Transporter — Transfer the shipment to a different transporter via PIN (see Reassigning Shipment)

Troubleshooting

Issue Cause Solution
Shipment stays in "In Transit" for a long time Depot officer has not yet accepted the orders Contact the depot officer to confirm they see the orders in their Incoming screen
Shipment not appearing in Completed Not all orders in the shipment have been accepted yet Some orders may still be awaiting acceptance — wait for the depot officer to process all of them
