Contacts

This guide covers how to configure public-facing and internal contact details for each country your courier operates in. Contacts are managed per-country under the Country Operations tab in your Config Hub.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged in as a courier owner (or a team member with contacts write permission)
  • Your courier application has been approved
  • You have at least one active country configured
  • You can access the Config Hub from the courier home screen

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to Contacts

Open the Config Hub and select the Country Operations tab (Tab 2). Use the country selector dropdown at the top to choose the country you want to configure. Then tap Contacts to open the contacts screen.

Info

The screen title shows "Contacts — [Country Name]" to confirm which country you are editing. Switching the country selector reloads that country's saved contact details.

Step 2: Fill in public contact details

Complete the Public Contact Details section. These fields are visible to customers on your courier profile.

Field Description Required
Contact Phone Primary phone number for customer enquiries Yes
Contact Email Primary email address for customer enquiries Yes
WhatsApp Number WhatsApp contact number (e.g. +27 81 234 5678) No
Website / Tracking URL Your website or shipment tracking page (e.g. https://track.mycourier.com) No

Warning

Contact Phone and Contact Email are required. The form will not save if either is left empty.

Step 3: Fill in internal contact details

Complete the Internal Contact Details section. These fields are only visible to platform administrators and are not shown to customers.

Field Description Required
Supervisor Name Name of the operations supervisor for this country No
Supervisor Phone Phone number for the operations supervisor No
Supervisor Email Email address for the operations supervisor No
Accounts / Finance Contact Name of the accounts or finance contact person No
Accounts Email Email address for accounts and finance matters No
Emergency / After-hours Phone Phone number for urgent out-of-hours contact No

Tip

While internal fields are optional, filling in supervisor and emergency contacts helps platform admins reach the right person quickly when issues arise.

Step 4: Save your contacts

Tap the Save Contacts button at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation message "Contacts saved" appears.

Result

After completing these steps:

  • Contact details are stored against the selected country for your courier organization
  • Public contact fields (phone, email, WhatsApp, website) are displayed to customers viewing your courier profile for that country
  • Internal contact fields are available to platform administrators only
  • Switching to a different country in the country selector loads that country's contacts independently — each country maintains its own set of contact details
  • Team members with contacts read permission can view the saved details
